For most of us, we will have to resort to the "basics" books like Total Money Makeover. I too have read Rich Dad, Poor Dad and didn't know where to begin, because while he does put forth some good wisdom, if you don't know where to begin, you can't take action.

Where Rich Dad, Poor Dad comes into play is for those people who have the unique natural instinct to see his writing, become inspired and know where, when and how to begin. Most of us don't have that ability.

I know that I've probably said it before; but the book from where most of the modern financial advice comes from is "The Richest Man in Bayblon"
