Currentcodes.com is a clearing-house for coupon codes offered by online retailers.
Hundreds of well-known online stores like Barnes and Noble, Staples, and Amazon.com have a place within their shopping cart for a “coupon code” that gives a percent or dollar amount off your purchase. If you don’t know the code, you can’t take advantage of the discount. You can find these secret discount codes and coupon codes listed on many sites across the internet but the problem with these sites is that they’re usually personal homepages and they don’t maintain their lists! Currentcodes.com has a full-time staff of trained individuals whose only job is to find new coupon codes and discount codes and verify the accuracy of the existing database. We don’t flood you with ads and we don’t throw deals in your face. No hype, just current codes.
I haven’t tried this yet, but you can bet I will the next time I place an on-line order! (See also: Dealhunting.com.)

I checked one of my favourite stores and I’m sad to say that the codes are a little outdated.
The best way to find coupon codes is simply to google “coupon+store name” and the best places to find up to date codes are on forums!

IMO Fatwallet.com is one of the best sites for this. Their forums are also excellent.

Someone mentioned outdated coupon codes, and many online coupon sites have those (unfortunately). One of the best and most current sites I’ve seen is CouponHeaven.com.

[...] Browsing through the extensive list of current Amazon discount codes, it looks like you have to be purchasing something very specific - Lee jeans or Oprah books, anyone? - to get an applicable code. So expect CurrentCodes to be hit or miss, but worth a browse to save a few bucks next time you hit that “continue to checkout” button. — Gina Trapani CurrentCodes.com [via Get Rich Slowly [...]

Just my 2 cents, I see this is an old entry but you may want to try http://www.rather-be-shopping.com for even more online coupon codes.

Try out some of the smaller and newer coupon sites for fresher coupons. They usually won’t have as many as the big guys (probably 1 person running the site), but they want to get an edge in and I find they publish alot of coupons and deals, shipping tips that the others don’t. One that I like to try is http://www.centsible.net
