Be prepared to take it up with management and, if it continues, I would think of moving on. I once worked for an agency that kept 'losing' my timesheet and failed to pay me on time at one point 4 or 5 weeks in a row. This is your life, not a digit on a sheet of paper and they need to understand and respect that it is not only very important to you you get paid, but your family and employers as well. I had this happen to me in one job too, and once i raised it with them, I promised to let them know each time it was late again, and got them to give me a "sole contact" who I could work with to fix it. I let them know that I enjoyed the work, and the job, but that it was unacceptable for this to continue. We worked it out after a few months. The key (for me) was keeping things friendly, and making it a "work through it together" rahter than "fix this, or else" sort of thing. I’d talk to your local HR.
