I've been following your blog for a few months now because I love the truthfulness of the premise of your blog and I'm sick and tired of the get-rich-quick culture that has developed and that I believe has led to the state the country is currently in. I'm behind your mission 100 percent.

I was curious to see what your very first entry was about (more on why later) and was pleasantly surprised to find it was about teens and money. Then I searched your blog entries for "teens" to see if you'd done anything else on teens and money because I've been with an organization for three years called Creative Wealth International (formerly the Money Camp) that has been running financial literacy programs for teens and adults since 2002 and I stumbled upon this article, where you actually talk about money camps. If you're interested, check us out: www.creativewealthintl.org.

I've also been following your blog more closely because I recently started a blog called wealthygrad.com and I want to model your real-world and down-to-earth outlook on money, with a 20-something edge. As a recent college grad in a very unique position (living and breathing financial education for the last three years with Creative Wealth) but surrounded by friends in a very non-unique position (mountains of debt, lack of any financial skills to get out of it, no notion of entrepreneurship or passive income), I started wealthygrad.com with the intention of giving them advice and perspective similar to yours but targeted to their (my) demographic.

I also read your blog about quitting your job and doing this full time (amazing--congratulations!) so I realize you are and have been strapped for time and energy (so I also apologize in advance for such a long comment), but I want to align myself with like-minded, successful people early on and I believe you are one of them.

I've been told that you take guest contributions (someone told me about your blog in my personal blog which further confirmed your legitimacy) and was wondering what the procedure was for that. I am very, very new to the blogging world, but I do believe I have a lot to contribute and will be targeting a demographic that has been, up until now, rather untapped on the subject of managing personal finances at the same time that there has been universal agreement that they need it the most.

Please feel free to contact me at pamelacapalad@gmail.com and check out wealthygrad.com and creativewealthintl.org. I would love to work with you.

Thanks, and have a fabulous holidays.

Sincerely,
Pamela Capalad
