		<description>Please don't pass on the false conception that you can cool something for free. It takes lots and lots of energy to cool a house or even a room.

That homebrew air conditioner is a waste of time and water. It's the equivalent to about 65 BTU's or about 1/100th the size of the smallest air conditioner that Best Buy sells.</description>

		<description>Through Craigslist, Thrifties, and garage sales I have replaced 5 aluminum windows with vinyl (including a slider) for $195.  I was careful to buy quality brands and windows that were new or only slightly used.  Many people ordered the wrong sizes or changed their minds.  A couple of the windows needed paint and sheetrock mud scraped off, but it was quite worth it.  In the end, I did have to purchase one new window and it alone cost me $160.</description>
