It's like the guy who installs tinted glass in his brand-new SUV on the logic that if thieves can't see his car stereo, they won't steal his car stereo. You won't deter idiot criminals. You'll only compound the damage they cause. In the process they did extensive — and expensive — damage to the lobby and the front of the credit union.

And therein lies a lesson for banks. It’s like the guy who installs tinted glass in his brand-new SUV on the logic that if thieves can’t see his car stereo, they won’t steal his car stereo. You won’t deter idiot criminals. You’ll only compound the damage they cause.
