Whatever Happened to Seattle Simplicity?

MissPinkKate has lost a favorite site. Does anyone know what happened to it? She writes:
Wondering if you know what happened to the site Seattle Simplicity? It was a great personal finance blog that now appears to have been eaten by spammers. Do you know what happened?
I thought the site was good, too — full of useful info on frugality and simple living. I also enjoyed her podcast interview. But I don’t know what happened to her site. Anyone else?
It’s very strange that the site has steakhouse links on it. People looking for a simple living site are not a good target for steakhouse ads. I hope the site will come back up.
I just think it’s so odd that a site hosted by Blogspot would be eaten by spammers. I thought their sites worked like LiveJournals or Diaryland, where the site is yours forever, because it’s under their domain.
If you give up your blogspot subdomain, it can be snatched by anyway. Another reason to avoid blogspot, though if you’re not serious about blogging, I guess it doesn’t matter.
Thanks for the heads up; I’ve removed them from my blogroll.

You might want to kill that link since it is spam. There’s no sense in giving spammers 100s of free hits.

UPDATE: Well, the email I sent her came back to me. Apparently her email address is no longer working.
I guess she just decided to get out of blogging.

I didn’t notice anything since there wasn’t an update in the feed (obviously). still have her on the blogroll too.
bleh. guess I’ll remove her from the blogroll for now.. I too enjoyed the blog and the occasional pictures.

Looks like I missed out on a good blog
I get a little concerned when bloggers are happily posting along and then suddenly do a disappearing act. This happened with Caitlin, too (Clutter2Cash). I hope both of them are okay!

I emailed Caitlin a while back to check on her and she said she didn’t have time to blog anymore. I think she is okay, just busy.
