That little website is going to educate 40 million people? If their goals are that lofty then they will need to do some serious marketing. The flash site is a little too moisy and scary to say the least. when I clicked on Entrepreneurs on the 360 website they did have an impressive array of articles. I'm sure this site will provide some great information for people new to the financial world.

At least Arnold Ziffle was funny.
And talented.
As far as pigs go.
And he was an actual pig; this whole anthromorphizing thing creeps me out.

Oddly enough, the book on that website is written by... my university's tax instructor.

He's not a bad guy. But "Keep it Simple, Stupid" is not something of which I believe he's capable. He's not especially good at imparting information in class and, after skimming through the 'book' once, I don't think he's a whole lot better in written form.

The problem with CPAs is that they--and I'm saying this with four enormous CPA exam review books stacked on my desk right now, no denigration for the profession here--are not necessarily good at simple advice. It seems like in this case they're just borrowing a lot from other, more popular advice-givers. (The 'Feed the Pig' ad showing on the 360 site right now seems to be showing a 'latte factor' with bottled water.)

Now I'm going to go do my tax homework because I've got a sudden paranoid feeling that Altieri's going to find this and, if I get a question wrong tonight, eat me alive...
