Ramit Sethi has signed a deal to publish a book based on his site. This is fantastic news. Ramit has a direct, engaging style, and offers commonsense personal finance advice for young people. (And for old people, too, actually.)
It’s also just the push I need to get off my ass and turn my own dreams of writing a book into reality. Time to read up on book proposals again.

I find your website much more fascinating than Ramit’s. His involves asking how to reach a wider audience without providing much very good content. You tend to bring in stories of your own experience and ones from other places that I naturally want to share with others.

Well, here’s hoping that there’s more than one way to reach people and get them to think about their personal finances and goals!
Thanks, J.D. You’ve been so helpful and have taught me a lot, both through your posts and our emails to each other.
Thanks also for the post about my book deal!

Thats awesome for Ramit; maybe you should talk to his agent and get yourself a book deal! Your style and content is definitely capable of supporting a book.

Why not publish your own book using lulu.com?
