A friend recently started me on a great idea of keeping a handle on what I spend on music from iTunes. She buys herself gift certificates through iTunes. If you want to limit your iTunes purchases to say $25 per month then buy a GC for that and credit it to your account. The amount left appears in iTunes. This is much better than getting your credit card bill at the end of the month and seeing that your individual 99 cent purchases added up to far more than you thought.
