I remember listening to these on the radio in the 1970's while driving in the evenings to holiday activities, and around the stereo at home. I remember going to Lipman's Dept. Store and having our photo taken with the Cinnamon Bear. Many thanks for doing all this work!

My mother is from Portland and she would talk about the wonderful Cinnamon Bear radio serial. I have been looking for this for years! Thank you for providing it. It is a Christmas treasure my family will love.

I remember listening to the tapes of Cinnamon Bear as a little girl and now that I'm in high school I realize how much fun these tapes made waiting for Christmas. Thanks for putting up these mp3s, so I can share this joy with the rest of my family again.

I remember listening to Cinnamon Bear as a child and I also have a picture of me as an infant being held by Cinnamon Bear himself. Thanks so much for posting these.

Can't thank you enough for providing this clean (albeit sometimes sappy), fun, wholesome program. My daughter, 16 cuddled with her 18 yr old boyfriend as we listened (her request) to episode after episode. Finally had to cut off poor Cinnamon Bear at 1:30 am!

I started listening to the Cinnamon Bear when I was four, and every year until I was 25. Then I lost track of it, until "Signals" had it on tape about 10 years ago. Wanted to get it on CD, but couldn't find it. THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing this!... "Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without it!"
God Bless your precious Heart

Thanks for posting these programs! I had the first 3 episodes but I didn't realize they were continued to the next. After listening to the first three my kids wanted to hear the rest. Thanks for providing them at no cost.

Have a Blessed Christmas!

You can now see the Cinnamon Bear on the Portland Spirit Cinnamon Bear Cruise. They changed the Bear suit from what I remember as a kid when my grandma took me to Lipmon Wolfs to sit on his lap and get a cinnamon bear cookie. But he's still enjoyable.

I had no idea that's where Cinnamon Bear came from. We used to go see him every year, until it all shut down :(. I liked him much better than Santa.

Thank you!

My family, an old Portland, OR, family, has been listening to The Cinnamon Bear for more than fifty years. The broadcasts used to be sponsored by Lippmans Department Store, then Meier & Frank (which has now been acquired by Macy's). My mom remembered it from her childhood, inducted my generation, and now my children listen to it on CD. A truly splendid holiday tradition.

When I first started my online life and blogging back when dinosaurs ruled the earth, I'd give away a data CD full of Christmas Themed Old Time Radio; everything from The Shadow to Gunsmoke to Dragnet to, of course, the Cinnamon Bear. Between all the radio shows and the music, it was about 48 straight hours of nostalgic enjoyment.

My nieces and nephews love the Bear!

Me, I'm still a Lamont Cranston kind of guy.
