It would have been totally fine, however the train had some other childs name on it and the old batteries had been left in and had leaked all over. When we opened it, she told us straight faced she got it at Target last week. So make sure you check whats in the box!!! Of course the only way to regift crap is if crap is given in the first place, but that's another story. I've seen people who know how to regift, though, and usually they make the item part of something bigger, like the poster says: part of a basket, or whatever. Sometimes I regift things that I own more than one of. Like if I accidentally buy another book I alreayd have (not very frugal!) I'll give it as a gift.
