In September, I wrote about getting started with naked-eye astronomy, a fantastic cheap hobby. I mentioned a free eBook containing things to see on every night of the year. The new edition, What’s Up 2007: 365 Days of Skywatching, is now available — it’s still free, and it’s still great.

It’s especially nice for dark and stormy nights like this. It rans often in the Pacific Northwest, but even when I can’t see the sky I can read about it!
