I love a good cut of beef but can rarely afford a good Strip Steak. :(

My favorite cheaper cut for steak is a Top Sirloin.

And to make those tougher/cheaper cuts of beef better get yourself a Needle Tenderizer.

Now you're cooking with gas! Great stuff and I do agree with the foodies. The spices are the key to great meat. I love the McCormick Montreal seasoning, and for godness sake, remember to marinate. The Foodnetwork has several solid recipes. Bon Appetite!

I doubt there is a single cook at the world chili cook off that uses anything but triangle roast.

What I found interesting is that the "dissappointing" cuts were the ones I cook with most often and the ones that my wife asks for the most.

Thank goodness I don't have to worry about this (I'm vegetarian). Instead, I can concern myself with what kinds of fruit trees to plant on my 10 acres. :)

From someone who is a serious foodie, I must say that the preparation and the spice use are more important than the original meat. If you are willing to put some effort into spicing the meat and cooking the meat, you can make even the worst meat edible and make middling meat fantastic.

Maybe I should write a guide... (wait, I'm going to do that very thing soon)
