Trent explains why private schools are no better than public schools. Don’t drop $50,000 on a private school education, he says. “The best investment you can make in your child’s education is to be involved.”
Great education article. I like what the author had to say about private schools…that you’re essentially paying for demographics.
The question I’m still left with, is should my child be subjected to the lower-end of the spectrum often found in public schools? I mean the kids that just don’t care, don’t want to be there, and act like animals… It’s a puzzling question to me.
On the one hand, I feel like you should be exposed to that element, but on the other…why? I don’t deal with those folks in my daily life…why should my child? I know bad things happen in all schools, but there are varying levels of “bad” and “constantly bad”.
