You will note that they did not rush out and use the "charge-a-plate" of the 50s, or put it on the account at the local grocery store. Instead, they had a "teachable moment" with their children...and then the children knew what was going on, and the discipline around it. I often use these "grandparent" values when I want to live extravagantly. Sure, I could move to a house 3x the size of mine, but why? The one I'm in is perfectly fine. My car is paid for...so why do I need another one? Other than it's "new". Thanks for all the great uTube posts...always love your ability to find these hidden gems. Dan Excellent!
