Happy belated Thanksgiving!

I hope you enjoyed Central Oregon. I loved Bend when I lived there a few years ago - loved Bachelor, the Inn at the Seventh Mountain, the Pine Tavern restaurant in downtown, the old mill and just the outdoors! Some of my best friends who've let me crash on their couches I met in Bend!

Excellent! You will note that they did not rush out and use the "charge-a-plate" of the 50s, or put it on the account at the local grocery store. Instead, they had a "teachable moment" with their children...and then the children knew what was going on, and the discipline around it.

I often use these "grandparent" values when I want to live extravagantly. Sure, I could move to a house 3x the size of mine, but why? The one I'm in is perfectly fine. My car is paid for...so why do I need another one? Other than it's "new".

Thanks for all the great uTube posts...always love your ability to find these hidden gems.

Yes. Freedom, that's what the Pilgrims mean to me. ;) Aaah, things really were different in the 50s. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.
