I was mesmerized. This was before the onslaught of reality programs saturating television programming. Even though my family's financial struggles varied from theirs...it made me feel less alone in the world, to know my family wasn't the only one struggling at the time. I'm very good at not wasting money, living with less, and appreciating many of the things in life that don't require money. However, and this is probably obvious to most, I'm going to have to re-enter the traditional career path working world.
