Cat and Girl is one of my favorite webcomics. It’s cynical, postmodern, and smart. I admit that not everyone finds it amusing (Kris, for example), but I do. I particularly liked yesterday’s strip, and am grateful that artist Dorothy Gambrell has granted me permission to re-post it here:
Cat and Girl often features commentary on class, money, and consumerism. Mostly it’s just delightfully strange.
Have a safe and happy Halloween.

My adviser was at the department Halloween party as the $700 B Bailout. He had a bucket full of candy and money for people to take.

At a Halloween party last night there was a guy dressed as a banker carrying a “can I borrow money I’m broke sign around”. I told him no, cause of you I’m broke too.

A kid actually trick-or-treated my house as the “market crash” Friday. He was wearing a billboard that showed a chart of the DOW.
Hah!

Awesome comic.
I was going to go as a homeless Wall Street stock broker, but I couldn’t afford a suit. So I just bought $5 worth of makeup and went as a zombie instead.
