I currently have *22,300* unread emails in my inbox. I have started deleting them in blocks of a couple hundred every chance I get. (You would be surprised how time consuming this process is with Yahoo.)

Thanks for the motivation I needed to get this project started and finished!

GRS has a lot of readers with better/more interesting stories than those–esp that one–. They just don’t know, do they?

I’ve never felt the need to clean out my inbox. I guess I get too much junk. I just look over my in messages quickly and see if there is actually anything personal. If there isn’t, I can look at the “spammy” type stuff if I’m in the mood and if I’m not in the mood, I delete. Sometimes I just leave them there. ONce in a while I go through and get rid of all the stuff from Ebay, travel companies, etc….in groups.

Guess it’s not a very good way to do business, but most of what I have to do each day isn’t connected to my inbox. Those of you with on line businesses feel that pressure more than the rest of us, I suppose since my sister feels the same way as you–rejoicing when she gets her inbox down to 0, although it’s usually only momentary.

Maybe that can get added to my to-do list. (Which today read “make dental appointment,” and then sadly transformed to “go to dentist.”)

Congrats on the zero inbox. It’s been a while for me. I’ve been trying to knock off 1-2 days of past emails at a time. Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever been at zero on my gmail account. I need to take some inspiration from you and get that done.
