After many decades of not agreeing with my Mum and Dad's financial way of doing things, now I'm with them all the way. Hold down a few jobs if you must, save all you can, invest some in wise pots, and spend only on basics rather than pure luxuries bar a holiday. I'm so pleased to agree with them yet sad that recently neither is still around. But perhaps the real truth here is that the best teachings are always found at home! I wish you well.
