Hey, GRS readers, you have been invited to the Morningstar Individual Investor Conference. This is an all-day webcast (although I’m sure you can jump in and out of the webcast depending on which sessions most interest you), and it features an all-star lineup of personal finance experts. The theme is retirement savings and setting goals.
The conference is on Saturday, March 23, and starts at 9 a.m. Central time. Here’s the link for registration http://www.morningstar.com/conference and you can read the details on all of the sessions at that site too.
Some of the sessions are roundtable discussions and others are presentations. There is an afternoon Q&A for Social Security questions. A number of Morningstar’s investment analysts are participating, and I expect you can learn a lot about investing in all kinds of vehicles, including mutual funds, equities, and ETFs. Other speakers include John Ameriks of The Vanguard Group (“How to Build Your Income Stream”), Charles Bobrinskoy of Ariel Investments and Harold Evensky of Evensky & Katz Wealth Management (“Deciphering the Big Picture”), and Mary Beth Franklin of InvestmentNews (“Social Security: Your Questions Answered”).
And it’s the right price for GetRichSlowly followers: free!
If you attend, we’d like to hear your comments about what you learned. Make your money work for you!
