Dylan-

As I recall, when I filled out expense reports, it was on quarter-day resolution as well. So, if I was back home between 1800 and 2359, then I would only get 75% of a day's per diem. The complement as for the first day.

I used to use my CC like cash and had it set to "Auto pay full amount" with no worries. Keep in mind I was buying my first house- 650/mo. Then I lost my job. I switched it to "Auto pay minimum". 3 mo later, I relocate 9 hours away. Lots of this expense is going on CC. I pick up a...

I'm sooo looking forward to it!

When in conversation about buying my house I jokingly say "Yes- I own my own house. Well, me and the bank... Mainly the bank."

But in that subtle way I do try to convey reality.

Congrats! I'm buying my first "real" car. Another 2000$ principle to go. You know, I told myself before I bought- "don't buy a NEW car" simply due to the immediate off-the-lot depreciation; that "new car smell" I call it. But I must have forgotten. Fortunately, I still ...

Hi all- I just discovered GRS last night and have been reading like crazy! On 20 Feb 2007 (over a year ago), I paid for a friend's car to be fixed via CC. 2600$ for a family emergency. Well, I got a couple of 200$ payments then it stopped. I made mention of small claims court which lit a fire to the...
