Sounds like a great idea. My favorite personal finance book has always been "Your Money or Your Life" ... beyond that, I haven't been impressed with the others I've read, by David Bach, Suzie Orman, Cramer and the like.

I would read one by JD Roth.

That's a tough question. I'm not objective on this one. Like I said, we're nuts about the show. It's definitely much better than the average sitcom, and it got better towards the middle seasons compared to the first. I think once you start watching a show for awhile, you get to know the characters a...

We've been getting into other shows on DVD that we never caught on TV. It's embarrassing, because some of the shows might be considered "chick" shows, but I've never been very macho anyway: Dark Angel Gilmore Girls Charmed Friends (we have all 10 seasons and we're nuts about this show) I a...

I don't think there's a hard-and-fast rule on this, but it would be interesting to see what the other PF bloggers do. We considered separating...

Hi JD, I've also begun meditating, on a small scale, and not as consistently as I'd like. One of my goals this year is actually to start meditating several times a week, but I've put that goal off until later as I concentrate on other goals right now. When I do meditate, I find it very relaxing and ...

Just wanted to say hi, and introduce myself. I've been a fan of Get Rich Slowly for well over a year, and I love its sensible philosophy. It was one of the blogs that inspired me to start my own blog, Zen Habits (http://zenhabits.net), where I write about productivity, goals, habits, frugality, simp...
