There is no right answer to this question. The issue is: what works for your family? IMO, that really depends on whether you two handle day to day money the same way. I would lean towards putting most of your $ into the 403B -- but that's my gut, you should listen to yours. The reason I would do that is for the tax advantage now. If you are also looking at 529s, that says there are kids in the picture, who hope to go to college. Financial Aid is determined by you...
