Well my financial responsiblity for the accident that I didn't cause is going to be 1998.56.

This just doesn't seem fair to me. I'm out my motorcycle, my money, my face and my unbroken right arm bone
and that stupid woman is chillin on her porch. Grrrrrrrrrr................

Rattus Norvegicus thanx 4 da good wishes. I'm just a simple country girl n I only want back what I just lost. A Kawasaki Ninja. 500 preferably but I'd even take a 250 again. Still miss my ZRX-1100 but post-divorce I couldn't get it in the truck alone so I downsized. :( I don't think I'm going to be...

GEICO is meeting me tomorrow with the check. GO GEICO!

But I think I'm gonna put the $$ in da bank til the medical expenses stop coming in.

If I have any left over after I'll consider a bike.

I come to several hours later with a stitched up face, broken nose n right wrist... and nothing else wrong with me. My bike is totaled. The moron was arrested 24 hours later for hit n run leaving the scene...

I made a veggie casserole yesterday using zucchini and yellow squash from my garden! It was yummy. I've already given some away too. I'm getting lots. My peppers are coming along slowly. I have my first little tiny baby watermelon coming in. It's cute! Looks like a green cherry tomato. :) Here's my ...

OK. My recipe for making my chicken soup. But before we get to the soup I need to back up a bit. Waaaaaaaay back in the beginning of this blogette I was very excited after reading "How to Eat a Wolf" and decided to follow her advice from eating during the depression. The author suggested t...

ChelleWeezie: Hi! Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I didn't think anyone actually read this little journal. You are going to make me sad to tell you that I don't think I'm going to make any of my debt reduction goals I previously posted. But at this point I'm paying everything on time and am a...

Share your progress! I’d love to hear about other people’s gardens. Especially if this is your first time growing your own food, please chime in with what you’re doing and what you’re learning. JD's comment above from yesterday has made me post again after a looooong hiatus. I planted my first gard...

So I've been running a joke recently: "I'm 3rd degree frugal." It was first cracked on wednesday when I didn't bring a lunch thinking I'd be able to eat the holiday party leftovers from Tuesday that *ought* to have been in the communal fridge. This economic climate is worse than I thought....

Yep. I'm still here. Still plodding along the financial path I set for myself back when I closed on my house. It is mighty boring. The excitement has long since worn off. I eat my chicken soups for dinner... even yet. Speaking of food: Have splurged on a 30% off glass casserole dish for a whopping $...

I took the first baby steps last night to begin free-lancing on the side to increase my income. It struck me that I could be way more aggressive about pursuing this. I called the people I know in the industry and asked for names of people I could send an introduction to so as to get myself on their ...

I keep thinking I ought to come in here and post something but I'm still in the phase where nothing very interesting is happening. I'm staying afloat, paying down debt and eating home cooked meals. Although last weekend when I was buying paper towels I ran across something worth posting. I like the ...
