I agree with plonkee. A spending diary will help you see what you are missing.

I don't have much experience buying men's clothing, but I have experience buying clothing in general. Right now I generally stick to buying certain brands, but I general, I go by the feel of clothing. It is very obvious to me what is good quality depending on the fabric. I do look at price, but if I...

Well, it was definitely unprofessional that she announced his results to the entire office. She seems to be very childish and in need of attention. I think that if she makes a remark of that nature he should tell her that her behavior is entirely unprofessional and should just stick to the facts of ...

Well you have made this nice and complicated, haven't you? Your girlfriend should consider enrolling in an online program that is part of an accredited university. Because she is not entirely sure what she wants to do in the future,it may be a good idea for her to make a list of some interesting are...

Thanks for the replies. I think buyers remorse is part of it, but I think part of it has to do with being ashamed of having nice things. My wife and I are probably better off than anyone in either of our families and instead of wanting to flaunt that we would prefer for people to not know about it....

I think the most important thing is to stay disciplined. Have you thought about put some of your extra earnings into an account for non-necessities? Or perhaps for every increase in salary, allocate a certain amount to be invested or put into savings, which cannot be used unless an emergency occurs?...

While I do think that you need to learn to say "no", I also think that your fiance needs to sit his parents down and have a talk with them about financial responsibility. Since I assume they are not ill, and can fully support themselves, there is no reason why you should have to continuous...

I have a feeling that if someone actually knew the answer to that, they may keep it a secret. I can't really say if investing in mutual funds are worthwhile, but I know that I would choose an ETF over a mutual fund. If you want a list of ETF advisors check here http://www.etfmarketpro.com/advisor-fi...

I agree with marsman. I think if you would like to help him pay off his debt, that is great, but the majority of it should come out of his own pocket. He should have some kind of plan to pay off his debt. It really is not your responsibility. I don't think that's what marsman said at all.. Oh, I sh...

First of all, congrats! I think that it would be inappropriate to post at work, I don't think your co-workers need to know about your financial status. And it may lead to some hostility in the work place. That is something that you may want to post on your refrigerator or anywhere in your house that...

Hi Jarvis, I think you should listen to Jericho and his opinion on investing in real estate. You say you are really confused about investing in mutual funds, have you done any research on them? I would say that they are less risky than investing in real estate, especially now. People just aren't buy...
