You're in portland right?

I'd suggest going to Guitar Center and picking up an inexpensive desk mic stand and a pop screen. It's not all that spendy and it makes a huge difference.

We use those for our podcasts at http://www.dvdtalkradio.com

Playoffs are some of the best basketball you'll ever see. The last time I did them I split the tix with someone so we alternated games.

Scottrade is OK. Don't keep any cash in the account though as their interest rate is beyond awful. Every time I think about ditching Scottrade they do something that improves the service. Sort of like how ING did with Electric Orange. I was ready to go and then...Boom they launched a reason to stay.

Love our Wii. Play a lot of Wii sports and some Wii play. Mario Party 8 for Wii comes out in a month or so and I'm thinking it's going to be a huge hit with our kids.

Rented Wii Super Swing Golf this weekend and I have to say it's not my favorite... Good thing it's a rental!

I pay equal attention to my net worth and how much things are costing. Right now I'm more concerned with inflation going up at a faster rate than my net worth.

I'm trying to figure the exercise thing out right now. I bought a Gazelle on Criag's list last year and absolutely hate the thing (it makes my hips hurt)... Badly need to re-sell it. In the mean time I picked up a free 30 day pass from Jamba Juice for 24 hr fitness and am almost at the end of it. So...

Really enjoyed Season 2 of the new Dr. Who. There's a series in the UK that is done by the same guy who does the new Dr. Who.. it's called Torchwood and it's VERY VERY good!

There's a relatively new book networking site called GoodReads.com. You can load your books into the system and get a better idea of all the ones you have that you still need to read. For me it's very easy to buy more books than I have the time to read.
