I usually wait for an upgrade which is 2 years through sprint I have found that they have the best plan for the money and that to me is more important than the phone. One of my first phones was an old samsung flip phone that I have here. I waited 2 years before upgrading to the LG Rumor which was a ...

I believe a prenup is a great idea honestly. Yes you trust your wife 100% now, however none of us are fortune tellers. It is hard to say where your mind or hers will be at in 10 or even 5 years from now. Who knows maybe it all it will take is you or her having to go out of town due to close family o...

I would look in to rare earth metals. Technology is only going to utilize them more and more especially as more hybrids and high tech devices roll out. China is imposing more and more limits on their exports of them. Both of these factors are increasing their price and will continue to do so for yea...

I think he just wants input on his book, nothing is wrong with that. If you think he's making a killing off of advertising his book on here, he's not.

Thanks a lot for the advice I really do appreciate each of your inputs. I will ask the person who got me in to stocks more about the tax aspects. I just think you're all making it sound next to impossible to turn some good profits in the market, maybe doing well in paper trades and in the real marke...

My broker gives me every trade i've made with the pricses in an excel file as well as a document to download specifically with all information I would need to file taxes. What more do I need to know about taxes? It's the same % as my income tax and at the end of the year turbo tax or whatever other ...

Yes, I thought he could be a bot as well, or a foreigner which is more likely (probably chinese) He doesn't only respond to 29's topics he responded to mine as well. Maybe someone is trying to make the forum seem more active by having these short posts. I'm good at conspiracy theories.

We'll see, there are only a couple of stocks I can think of that have done this going up (in the past 6 months) AAI , SUR, THC, TOD. You will find that stocks in the current market are much more likely to do this going down. Yes out of the 3130 stocks that I pick from in the NYSE there is a chance t...

I don't trade based off of the MA this was just an example I was using. The stock has fallen now over 3.15% since I bought it and I lowered my stop loss down to 2% so I'm guaranteed to come out with at least a 1.15% gain. I haven't even seen any CDs or savings accounts with a 3% annual interest rate...

Yes and I honestly don't understand how most of them are losing money. I guess those people who send out the emails or convince people to do something with a certain stock go a long way and there are a lot of desperate people out there trying to make a quick buck, or maybe I just don't know. I hones...

I know I may be digging up an old thread but this one raises an eye-brow for me. Why did I join? Tough economic times and to pay for a degree, some people don't have the same options that some are fortunate enough to have and the Military is a way of giving people those options, for a great sacrific...

I would love a 401k, employer matching is a 100% return on an investment. Unfortunately the US Navy doesn't provide this. They have a save for retirement plan which is just based off of the market anyways, it's tax free until you decide to withdraw but I don't think the returns are near what I could...
