Hey guys, I had a question about options. Let's say I'd like to buy some $10 January 2014 call options for Bank of America. I am fairly confident that the stock price will be higher than $10 by then (let's not argue about this btw lol)...so I want to buy 10 options contracts. An options contract is ...

Does anyone have experience with this organization? I've read several reviews across the net, and in general, they are all positive regarding this. It's a $29/year subscription.

Was hoping someone here knew more about it.

Thanks!

Thank you both for your advice. And VinTek, Boeing is big, touché lol. Unfortunately, I am in between finals, but I skimmed both of your posts and saw some really good info/insight that I know I couldn't have gotten anywhere else. I'll look through more carefully when I get home this Friday and ask ...

If I had a 20-year-old intern with $100K, I'd be wondering what the heck they were doing interviewing for an internship. Or whether he earned it in a less than legal way. I concur with Vintek's points. I also hire interns. I could not care less about how much money they have. And if I saw him liste...

If you mean, which is more important for business success? Logic. Intuition is not the same thing as emotions; it's closer to subconscious logic. The only emotions you need to have, understand, and effect are those of your customers.

I wholeheartedly agree.

Well to be honest, $100,000 is a lot but still not...A LOT in the long scheme of things I think? If I had a 100 grand, I'd still be applying to internships...need some kind of career that can pay for your livelihood so you don't have to tap into the $100k investment money to live haha, if that make...

Also, say your intern had $100,000, not 33. Still wouldn't be impressed as an employer? haha If I had a 20-year-old intern with $100K, I'd be wondering what the heck they were doing interviewing for an internship. And I'd wonder if he was going to be on his brokerage's website all day... Haha right...

I second the post that suggests setting up a donor advised fund instead. All the major brokerages offer this feature and it is quite easy to set up. Donate your money to your own "foundation", select your investments and recommend grants to whatever charity you desire. You pay a small fee...

Okay, so the REAL reason I asked about creating an LLC for this is more related to my resume for applying to my internships...I have about $33,000 (including ~ $3000 in a Vanguard Roth IRA) invested on the market, which I believe is a pretty decent amount for a 20 year old. Unfortunately, in all my...

DoingHome, VinTek, & Savarel, thank you so much for all of your insightful thoughts. I really enjoyed reading your posts and gained quite a bit of knowledge! I'm very happy haha. Well, I figured it would allow me the possibility of hiring someone to partly manage it; I could deduct costs, etc. Just seemed like a more efficient way to run things than just holding securities out of an Ameritrade account for the time. Also, if I want to expand into just buying a small business...
