Update! I am stalling. Weight 103,2 kg. Exactly the same as march 19/week 14. Now it is the end of week 16 and I am 3 kg behind my goal. I have been a bit sloppy with diet - but just a little. Spring is in the air so now I don´t have any reason not to work out (even if that will not help me loose w...

I can only give a viewpoint from my own perspective, and that is of a 32 year old with a long time horizon before retirement starts. I would likely sell the land and invest the money Me too. 1,9 - 4,3% ($3.000-5.000 divided by $140.000-160.000) yield gross is pretty meagre. Where I live farmland ha...

Brad
That is an interesting figure! Replace the pot belly with muscles on shoulders, chest and legs?

I have often met people who think they weigh more than me (bigger pot belly) just to find I weigh 10 kg more than them. I am built to be a medieval berserk I guess. Not so useful these days.

Update! Just ended week 14 of my 29 week project and the weight is 103,2 kg (227,5 pounds). That means I lost exactly 13 kg (28,7 pounds). One kilo behind. I was 1,9 kg behind week 11, just to find I was pretty much on track week 12. Before week 9-10 I lost a kilo per week like a clock, since then ...

Update! I cut back on alcohole free wine and kept to my diet, but last 8-12 days have felt like I go nowhere. But I did! Weigt this morning - to my surprise - 104,4 kg! So, the last day of week 12 my wight loss is 11,8 kg! I am almost back on track with the goal! Great weather today - will go for a...

End of week 11. Weight 106,5 kg. Weight loss 9,7 kg. I am 1,3 kg behind after two weeks of careless detail of diet. Part of the blame is that I tried a alcohol free wine. Seems it is very sweet and messes up my diet. Interesting that even though I am careless, I don´t gain weight - I just loose it a...

Last week was not good. Followed diet 80-90% but no workout. More or less kept my weight and got nowhere with stamina. Weight about 107 kg (-9,2 kg) in the morning. This beeing week nine that´s OK, but I am not ahead any more. Signed up for a new job today. One of the worlds safest banks. I am excit...

Bought some new clothes. Had to. This summer I bought a pair of size 38 jeans. They where kind of tight. Used them until the other day. Can´t possibly use the belt to make them stay up any longer. Looks awful too. Bought a pair size 36 but retirned them since they where kind of loose fit after an ho...

They're filled with so many amazing nutrients and vitamins, and if you think replacing those with high fat sauces and meats is good just because you're losing out on some sugar, you're wrong. I eat loads of vegetables, so I´ll be fine. Note that during these 29 weeks I do some more drastic stuff. A...

Update. Too little (none) exercise. Very cold around here; minus 15-16 degrees celsius. But that is just excuses. I could run anyway. Weight today with a bit of clothes on, at dinner time (use to weigh in first thing in the morning): 109,4 kg (241,2 pounds). 6,8 kg (15 pounds) lighter than 47 days a...

Hardwood floor is pretty much standard in Sweden, at least in the living room. Wood is in many aspects a magical material. CO2 neutral fuel, furniture, paper - and a hose made of logs manages the climate of Canada/nordics without further isolation. A decent fireplace is required. Non isolated loghom...
