We use American Express Online Savings for our baby emergency fund ($1k). No min or fees. I think the rate is 0.85% which is pretty decent. A money market may get you closer to 1% if you've got a larger amount

Try and sell some stuff. The worst time to go into debt is during an emergency...it makes the situation much worse, plus the issue will follow you for a long time (in the form of loan payments, etc) that will not let you deal and cope with the situation.
