I use vanguard and highly recommend it. The general consensus around here is that a Roth IRA is preferred to a traditional IRA. Thanks, I am leaning towards vanguard as well. what is the balance left on the car? If you can make a couple more payments and knock it out, I'd just do that. But, if you have years to go, I'd tone it down a bit.
