I'm almost 25 and maybe I'm being overzealous but sometimes I feel like I'm behind on retirement savings. In total, I only have about $2,500 saved in all retirement accounts, which is why I'm torn between funneling money into an IRA and paying off my debt (which I really, really want to do as quickl...

I have never needed to work with a tax or financial advisor, but recently, I feel that I would greatly benefit from accurate advice from a professional in terms of my general tax situation (e.g. if it would be wise for me to make changes to my W-4, etc.). I live in Los Angeles and have done a quick ...

I have always owned used cars outright and have never wanted to buy new or lease. Our current car is a 2001 Ford, which I've owned since 2007. It's been very reliable, but we put a ton of miles on it when we moved and drove it across the country. When we arrived in our new destination, understandabl...
