OK I made it through most of the thread, should have started reading when I first noticed it. Just a note but in Europe private health care is common. In Canada private healthcare is banned. thanks, from there I came across the http://www.captiveamerican.com interesting site, this from them … people seek out their own facts now. They only watch one kind of news show, they only listen to one kind of radio program, and they only read one kind of newspaper or website: the kind that tells t...

Sooo everyone as much as I love Personal Finance and Frugal Living blogs I do like the odd time to take a look outside and see what else is there. So what else is in your reader besides FL blogs? Here's a list of my favourites Madrid Man :An American l...

First thing in spite of what people say a house is not an investment. At best it's a zero sum gain as I mentioned in my blog. The problem is that houses tend to move in very long cycles, buy at the wrong time a...

With all the talk about the need for getting a college degree this is what most people don't realize Nonetheless, I hate making the payments, because at my current rate of about $850 a month, it will take at least thirty plus years before I tackle the approximate 100K in law school debt I acquired 3...

Unfortunatly you are about to find out how much the field has been tilted against you. CNN money ran a story about people who are forced to leave the country because they can't pay the loans off. These people aren't your typical dead beats but simply took private loans out to get a college degree. T...

You can't delete threads otherwise I would have and asked if college is worth it. If you go a bit further down the comments you read story after story of people who said that going to college was the worse mistake they ever made, they are in debt with no hope of ever getting out of debt much less bu...

Why do so many in this country seem to feel that others have to carry them on...
