I'm a big fan of personal finance issues and I cover them in my own site, since so many consultants seem to get into the business as a way of dealing with financial troubles and opportunities.

I worked my own way through university, launch a career in business, started a consulting firm, went back for my MBA, and kept consulting. I'm kind of debt averse, but I do have a mortgage (kind of hard to avoid for us early 30s-folks in Vancouver).
