J.D. suggested I post this request to this forum.

My name is Robert Pagliarini (you can read more about me at http://www.planzbook.com). I'm a bestselling personal finance author and am looking to provide two families with a financial makeover for a prime-time national TV show.

Respond ONLY if you are willing to appear on national TV.

Do you need a financial makeover? Have the problems in the economy turned your life upside down and created problems for your finances? I am looking for two families that fit either of these descriptions:

(1) You've been paying for your lifestyle the past few years by using credit cards, but now you are strictly cash-only because your credit cards are maxed out or because you've decided to cut back.

(2) You've been pretty responsible, but because of a layoff or decrease in income, you now need to use credit cards to pay the bills.

If you would like to be considered for a personal financial makeover from a financial expert on national TV, I want to hear from you.

Instead of posting your personal information to the forum, please email me the following info to robert@planzbook.com:

First name
Last Name
Email address
Street address
Zip code
Phone number
Alternative phone number

Are you married?
Are you employed?
Is your spouse employed?
About how much is your total monthly income?
About how much are your total monthly expenses?
What kind of debt do you have (e.g., credit card, student loans) and how much do you owe?

Why do you think you need a financial makeover?
Anything else you would like to tell us?

Yes, this is legit. Robert is a CFP and author. He and I have communicated in the past, and I got to see a draft of his first book before he published it. I trust him and don't think he's out to defraud anyone!
