Hello!
Long time reader, but I just discovered the forums.
My husband and I are musicians, he works part time for the Faculty of Engineering at the local Uni, and I work full time for a C.A. We bring in about equal amounts, but he's still pulling EI from when he was laid off of the full time gig he had at the Fac. of Eng.
We went into panic mode mid-summer... we got married in June, after he'd been unemployed for about 2 months. No EI, and no job in sight. things have evened out now, but we are SO much more aware of our financial fitness after the prospect of not being able to pay the bills.
I have an aggressive (*by our standards*) plan to get us out of debt, which i will post in the FFJ when I'm a little more familiar with the forums.
