Is it just my browser, or have the forums completely changed their look?

Also, it seems any posts made since Sunday night are missing. It's weird - the thread listings seem to know there were recent posts, but when I go into the actual individual threads, the most recent posts were Sunday night.

I assume an update has been made to the forum software, but is there any chance of recovering Monday's forum posts?

Yes, the forums have Finally been upgraded! I will look into the monday posts being lost, I didn't know the change was taking place this weekend!

Yeah... I started a thread last evening (maybe around 5 pm), which had a few replies, called "Dave Ramsey: You can withdraw 8%" and now it doesn't exist anymore. Posts are also missing from from the debt snowball thread and the one about saving as an intern.

"Upgrades" are nice and all, but if you don't me asking, why the proposed change? Also, is it just the theme that has been changed, or is there anything else that we should be aware of?

it has a few bugs which is expected...when i log in, even if i click for it to log me automatically each time i visit the site....it doesn't

I hate the new format! It's hard to read, doesn't indicate which threads I've contributed to, and it's hard to read. Did I mention it's hard to read?

the format is not really user friendly the way the green page was....add more emoticons..."find the lost posts"....bad color for the page...do like the fact that i can now go to the home page from the forum home...since that used to annoy me b/f...can we try this again....

I have to agree with the others; the beige, grey and white aren't pleasing to my eyes.
Everything looks really washed out. I also can't understand those symbols next to each post(two squares, one square, some diagonals). What do they mean?

For your login to be saved, you must rebookmark the forum after logging in. Bookmarks pointing to the old forum will not login as it seems to simply redirect to the new forum.

if there is spam can you put a report button or something and you can report either the spam and or someone who's using foul language or something along those lines.

First, Mossy has it figured out about logging in. Just bookmark the new site and delete your old book mark.

I will look into the report spam button. We should have that now.

As far as colors are concerned, what would you all like?

Something higher contrast. The font (in light grey) against a cream background is washed out under my florescent lighting...

So even if the font was BLACK, that would be helpful.

I'm going to take theme suggestion changes for about a week, so everyone please chime in, and then we will make that change. If possible, I will load various templates up to give choices in case whatever we decide to do doesnt quite do it for some.

Choice! by the way, there are 3 themes you can change it to in your own options tab on your control panel
