Everone's advise is to cut spending or earn more. Does anyone know of any good ways to make some extra $ online besides selling stuff, consulting or blogging? All I can find are those stupid 'get rich quick' things that you have to pay for and probably don't work anyway. Just a little extra cash to help pay of debt would be extremely helpful - if I can defeat the credit card monster I will be OK...

Thanks for any suggestions!

You could try to set up a site asking everyone in the country to send you $1. Even if only 1% do, you'd still be sitting on over $2.5 million! :D

There are lots of survey sites you could make a few dollars at.

There are *some* reputable mystery shopper programs (a friend and his wife have worked with one). You might want to email your local paper's business/consumer affairs section to see if they have a sense of what the good organizations are in your area.

Obviously, a fair portion of that is done IRL, but signing up and filling out the survey forms is mostly online.

And if you're willing to give up the online angle completely, a LOT of department stores and such look for holiday retail workers (or at least have recently). It's obviously a bigger (and less flexible) time commitment than online activities, but there are worse ways to get extra cash.

You'd be surprised.

Million Dollar Homepage

Wikipedia - Million Dollar Homepage

Just need to think of something clever, but not a copycat; Wikipedia says those haven't done well...

Do whatever it is that you are good at. Sounds vague, but if you like to do crafts then sell things online at Etsy, if you are good with a camera offer to photograph your friends kids/weddings/bar mitzvahs.

So tell us what you are good at and maybe we'll come up with something that is worth your time invested.

Paper route? It's not alot, but it probably wouldn't interfere with anything else you're doing (er, except sleeping...)

Or any other part time job - babysitting, retail, UPS... post a note in the local laundromat with whatever you can do (editing, resume help, yard work, hell... laundry!)

The problem is I work full time and am going to school for my masters. The only thing I would really have time for is doing something online in spare time, here and there. I guess I will try looking for some reputable survey companies and try to dig up some OT @ work... I also like to make jewelry, so maybe I should try Etsy... Or maybe just make a bunch and wait til theres a craft show in my area... Thanks for the ideas! Oh, and if you know anyone who wants to give out money, let me know. lol

you could get a job at your university in the food court/bookstore. i know some people who did shifts between classes, they really will schedule you for between your classes. and since your already there you don't have to travel. it won't pay much but it might give you what you need.

but if you already work full time i would try cutting expenses or apply for a scholarship. I know most are gone already but there are a few that open up for 2nd semester ask your schools financial advisors.

or... get a student line of credit. you probably qualify if you have a job, and the interest rates are much lower then a c/c plus you only have to pay the interest until you graduate. [but i would pay what i could on the principle.]

Where do you stay? You can start sell ebay items via affiliate networks. You got commission for each sales. You can use that in your blog too.

If your job isn't one you care for too much you could try to get a job at the university, and then get your schooling for free.

Actually, I work at a pretty large, well known company and they are paying for my school... Thanks for the idea, though...
