Has anybody here attempted to bake a cake in a crock pot? So, how does it work? Does it completely wreck your crock pot?

I've never made it, but I have a crock pot cookbook that has a couple versions of this idea. They're supposed to be tasty.

I think it requires a rack (or helps to have one) inside the crock pot, but it is basically just a small electric oven if you think about it. Not much different than cooking something inside a Dutch oven.
