Anything goes. But keep it civil, please.

We pay $30/month for cable internet and $60/month for digital cable w/DVR. With taxes and all it comes to around $95-ish per month. I could personally just drop down to internet only and live without cable, but I think my girlfriend's head would explode :-) When you think about it costing a few dollars per day, it really is quite expensive. No land-line phone though, we just use our cellphones.

$49--broadband and modem
$42--cable VOIP

We pay about $110 for digital cable + DVR + showtime, a phone line and 5 MB/s internet access.

We were paying more without the phone service, so we have it and use it, but normally we wouldn't.

$140/month for Comcast cable + internet. Thankfully I have two roommates, so that amount is split into three.

I have my first full internet bill following my service reduction. I'm paying $45.99/month for Qwest Silver something or other (1.5mbps). This seems awfully expensive, but the cheaper option (which is about $26.99) is noticeably slow...

Mobile phone $36
Basic cable $15
RoadRunner internet $45

I'm thinking of dropping basic cable again (didn't have it for a year) because most tv shows I watch I download off the net (torrent). This is my version of DVR! However I do have a HDTV and I get the QAM 'free and clear' channels for free. OTA doesn't work in my apartment.

I dropped down to the cheapest internet (256k) and it *is* noticeably slower, but it only is an issue if I am downloading something.... I do miss my cable a little, but now i read more, and i suppose that's better!

I have been hearing a buzz about ATT offering 10/month DSL plans. I suppose you may need a phone line though, and i think it's more in different cities.

Moving soon, I noticed that 3 coffeeshops have free wifi within 1/4 mile. I am tempted to cut wifi off at the house.

Yes, but then you have to factor your added coffee and snack bill into the equation ;-)

My only concern with coffeeshop Wifi is security. I can use a VPN to avoid snoopers, but it's a bit of a pain and doesn't always work.

Cable: $20
Internet: $45
VOIP: $33

My VOIP plan gives me unlimited calling in NA plus a local number in another city, which saves my girlfriend money.

My rates here in Germany:

Landline + unlimited free domestic calls + 6Mbit DSL flat rate: $68/month
Cable: $0 (satellite TV)
Mobile phone: no monthly fee, but $13.50 minimum turnover (if I don't use it, I still get charged $13.50), free incoming domestic calls (What's up with having to pay for incoming calls, anyways?)

I have Comcast. Basic Digital cable + internet comes to $82.27/mo.

Split between five roommates, and it's pretty cheap :).
