I thought it might be nice to start a thread where we could post our most recent frugal finds. A place where we could share and as a side benefit learn about regional differences. Maybe a post here could inspire someone to check out a local option.

Today my find was the local beauty school. I got a $10 haircut and they are running a nails class so they had nail techs there that gave pedicures for $10.

This pricing is superb. $45-50 each is about an average price for these services in local salons. So I paid $20 (plus tip) instead of $90-100. They are students but instructors are on sight and have to approve/review everything before you leave. This is an awesome way to pamper yourself for very little money.
