Is there such thing as a Bluetooth TX/RX pair?

Anything goes. But keep it civil, please.

Is there such thing as a Bluetooth TX/RX pair?

Hey guys,

I'm not really sure where else to ask this, so I'm hoping someone here will have some familiarity with this technology and will be able to provide some guidance.

I've been trying to find a Bluetooth transmitter/receiver pair. Let me explain - I want something that I can plug into any device with a headphone jack (minijack), and it will transmit the audio wirelessly to a sibling receiver, with a corresponding headphone jack into which I can plug any regular pair of headphones.

That is, I'm looking for a pair of devices which can take anything into which I would normally plug headphones, and turn it into a Bluetooth wireless-enabled device. For example, say I have a favorite pair of headphones. I want something I can plug into my stereo that will transmit the audio wirelessly, and a corresponding receiver into which I can plug my headphones and listen to my stereo wirelessly.

Does such a thing even exist? What's it called?

Something like this would work. However, you would still need a bluetooth headset, so not exactly what you want. http://www.amazon.com/Miccus-BluBridge- ... 471&sr=8-5
