I wanted to get some suggestions for "Mini Careers" I can pursue while working on starting my own business. I do not want to go to a traditional 4 year College because I want to work for myself ASAP and start my own business and feel the debt would be pointless

I am interested in mini careers that pay more that the average retail/hourly jobs and only require 6 months - 2 years of schooling and are not to expensive for schooling. They don't have to pay a lot just a little bit above the minimum.

Some examples I can think of is EMT, Dental Assistant etc.

Any other suggestions?

Is there a particular reason why you'd choose to go to more school in an unrelated field to your primary focus (the business startup)?

Personally, I just want to say kudos to you!!

Soooooo many people incur a ton of college debt and end up
in the 'hole' for quite some time. College is certainly a great
option for some people. However, it's no longer the 'guaranteed
ticket' that it used to be.

There really are many options today that allow you to do VERY well
in life without the college debt load.

I look forward to reading your updates!

Not a good decision to start a business to leave your study..

Do the study of business related it will give you a better knowledge to run a business...

But I think you should join a institute for basic training. They give some basic idea how to start a business.
