2011 Goals

And here are our 2011 goals:

(1) Max out our 401k(s) - $33,000
(2) Max out our IRA(s) - $10,000
(3) Add to Emergency Fund - $10,000
(4) Mortgage prepay - $5,000
(5) House projects - $5,000

Total - $63,000

Thanks Peachy, I've missed my Fiscal Fitness friends. My real life friends only like to talk about saving money, investing money, and the like for only so long. I'm happy to report I've now been able to log in two days in a row.

Ambitious perhaps but it is better to dream big and fall short, then to dream small and achieve it :)

(2) Max out IRA(s) - $7,000 (70%)(goal is $10,000, my IRA is now maxed out for 2011)
(3) Add to e/r fund - $2,800 (28%)(goal is $10,000)
(4) Pay down mortgage - $1245 (25%)(goal is $5,000)
(5) House projects - $0 (goal is $5,000)

Total - $20,849 (33%) We are about $4000 ahead on our goals, mostly due to Mr. Sam's bonus which bumped us up on the 401k and the IRA goals.

$1 million mark

We are back above the $1 million mark for net worth. We've briefly been above this number twice before, only to come crashing down shortly thereafter.
