Sam ,
What is your household income ?
Just curious .

Marco, I can understand why you might ask that question and I've gotten it before between my various postings here on GRS and on my own blog. Obviously, our joint household income would provide some context as to how much discretionary income we have that could go to savings. Clearly, we make more than $69,000 per year since that is the number we are trying to it (although its doubtful we will make it) as for as savings.
My husband and I both have advanced degrees, we both work in professional jobs, we own (with mortgages) three rental properties, our home (with a mortgage) and another property (with a mortgage). Our net worth is on networthiq.com (there is a link on the blog) my data dates back to 2003, I think, on networthiq. I blog about our finances and our adventures in being landlords so clearly I am quite open with a lot of information.
However, I have previously decided not to disclose what we earn in our respective jobs. There are a variety of reasons for this decision, but first and foremost is the fact that my employer does not permit me to disclose that information and work folks read my blog.
