Whoo hoo indeed! That's a great thing.

How far in advance were you? Initial payoff date if you'd kept to the schedule?

Very inspirational.

I would have had it paid off by February 2010, if I had fulfilled the 5 year loan.

So... two YEARS early!!!

Paid off my 48-month car loan last month on a '05 Toyota Corolla. Hope the car will last as long as my former Camry did for 19 years -- but that's a stretch I guess. :?

I have some good news and some bad news

the bad news is for your ex loan servicer, they will be no interest $ going their way
the good news is you'll have one less check to write next month, and extra cash to do with what pleases you.

Congrats!!!
