home repair books

Does anyone have a home repair manual that is worth buying to keep in your home? I need to do some of the fixes around the house now that my husband is working more. Specific fixes: replace light switches, install water filter handle and water filter, repair and repaint damaged walls, etc. There seems to be a lot of books, but I can only afford one.

I don't know of any specific books but you could look for some at the library or look on the internet on how to do home improvement projects.
