True, I didn't quote the entire paragraph or post (my posts tend to be a bit large, I try to trim where I can). But still, a poster said "If you go fishin' for a trash fish, you gonna get a trash fish!" and you basically agreed.

But note...the comment I really had issue was the "trash fish" one. Your post quoting it just brought it back to my attention, and I decided to respond.

It's an airstream, it has a/c (not central air, but a/c nonetheless), electric and water hookups, etc. Definitely nicer (rather, it looks nicer...I have no idea on build quality) than the converted bookmobile we lived in. And more living space too (I think we had 25-28 feet from the back of the driver's seat to the rear of the rv...the one I linked to is 31'). Is this the one the OP is looking at? Probably not...though he (heck, do we even KNOW he's a he...I mean, we are just assuming after all) said he's becoming a doctor, so who knows?

Our family lived in an RV for over nine months. And it wasn't anywhere as nice as the type of airstream a doctor could afford. So for someone to say a woman who'd consider living in one must not be in her right mind, or be "trash fish"...it does make me quite upset. Hopefully I didn't come off too rude.

Heck, even if you do think of women as fish to be caught...this is a finance forum after all, right? Does it make more financial sense to catch a "trash fish" who's happy with someone who is living in an airstream (and would even consider living in one too) and thinks it's a good idea to wait several years to save up and build a house with cash...or a nice shiny fish who will only consider you if you're living in a house with a big mortgage?

Just sayin'.

I wouldn't be dropping the cash on an Airstream and land that seems too expensive.

Who says he wants to attract most women? Maybe he prefers someone who's willing to do something different, join him in an adventure, and is happy to look at alternative lifestyles. And maybe he isn't looking for a woman at all, or is happy being single. Unless getting married is a higher priority than choosing his own lifestyle I'd say go for it.
