I'm currently looking for a part-time job that offers health benefits as my full time job does not offer them. I'm looking for a job that is in a different field than my full time job so I can learn some new skills which offers both health benefits and other "perks." I'm leaning towards Whole Foods at the moment(although it's pretty close to the same industry as my full time job.) With my experience I don't think I would have a hard time getting a job. They offer benefits to part time employees as well as many other benefits and a 20% discount on all items at the store. Which makes my fondness for craft beer 20% more affordable!

Here is a thread on fatwallet.com about companies that offer tuition reimbursement.

Not all of those companies offer tuition reimbursement to part time employees but some do. UPS and FedEX do. Another great place to get a part time job is a college because you can often take courses for free while working there.

A part time job is a great way to make some extra money and with tuition reimbursement could be very positive to your financial situation. :)

What are some good part time jobs that you know of that have something else to offer than just a paycheck?

My friend works for an airline rewards miles call centre. She gets free trips for herself, her children, her spouse and a companion. Even though she makes good money as an RN, she works a few hours a week at the call centre, just to save on vacations.

I'm applying for a job at a local Kimpton hotel so I can get health bennies, a retirement plan and discounted travel at their properties.

UPS, GAP, and I believe Starbucks all give their part time employees full benefits.

REI (recreation equipment inc) has great benefits. The pay is crap, so they expect most people just work their to feed the monkey (their high-risk sport of choice addiction).

Look through the 100 best places to work list (is that from Forbes?). All the companies that obviously hire a lot of part-time employees probably give good benefits ('bucks and REI are on the list).
